Refacing

What does Refacing Involve?

If you are satisfied with your layout and the cabinetry boxes are in good condition, but are not pleased with the doors, the cabinet refacing process is an excellent option to give your space a fresh new feel.

Here is our cabinet refacing process:

1. Pick New Custom Cabinet Doors

2. Choose Door Finish (paint, polyester, thermofoil, melamine, etc.)

3. Remove Existing Doors

4. Refinish Boxes (if required; see Refinishing page for the process)

5. Install New Doors

For finishing, we use a high-quality, Italian water-based cabinet lacquer tinted to the Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore paint color of your choice. We finish with PAINT ONLY for the MDF and wood door options. Please note that we do not offer stain finishing for kitchen cabinet refacing projects, no exceptions.

Doors typically take 4-10 weeks to be made or ordered, plus finishing time if painted. Door installation and cabinet box refinishing (if needed) generally takes 1-5 days, depending on the scope of the project.
